At work, we always go out for lunch to celebrate someone's birthday, so last week, I chose a pub that was close to our workplace. The Hop & Vine Tap House has actually become a regular place we go to, because they serve such a wide variety of food, and it's been delicious every time.

We ordered wings to share, and I ordered the Chicken Pot Pie, which comes with a small salad. I've had it before and it's delicious. The pie crust is very flaky and the inside is all-around yummy-ness. One of my favorite dishes to order here is the perogies - cheddar cheese perogies with sausages and green onions, and smothered in melted cheese. It's cooked on a cast-iron skillet, so it's plenty hot.
The Hop & Vine is a bit hidden in the back roads of Burnaby, just across from the Burnaby Mountain Golf Course. If you're ever out that far in Burnaby, I definitely recommend checking it out! To peruse their menu, go
