Horrible Bosses - Movie Review

Horrible Bosses is a comedy staring Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, Jason Sudeikis as three friends, Nick, Dale and Kurt, who are fed up with the antics of their bosses. They all have really, really terrible bosses. Nick's boss, Dave (Kevin Spacey) promotes himself instead of giving Nick a well deserved promotion, after eight years of slaving away. Julia (Jennifer Aniston) is Dale's boss, and is always sexually harassing Dale. Kurt loves his boss, but when his son Bobby (Colin Farrell) takes over the company, things don't look so good. The three of them conspire to axe their bosses, and hire a murder consultant, Motherf***er Jones, a hilarious role played by Jamie Foxx.

The movie was pretty hilarious. The roles of the bosses were written so well that you can't help but hate them as well and root for the trio to kill them off. There are some really smart and funny lines that I was laughing out loud at. Jason Sudeikis always seems to be playing the role of the womanizing douchebag (see Hall Pass), but hey, I guess that works for him. Jennifer Aniston steps out of her usual roles and plays the naughty boss. Because you are so accustomed to seeing Aniston as the girl-next-door characters, this role in Horrible Bosses was even more funny. Horrible Bosses is a great light comedy to go see if you're just looking for a laugh.

Horrible Bosses comes out in theatres this Friday, July 8th.
