The movie is certainly an eye-opener of such an obvious fact - that we touch our faces, each other, food, hundreds of objects each day that contains germs and how easily it can be passed on from person to person, even around the world (ie. at airports). It was also very interesting to see how pandemonium can break out when ordinary people are panicked. It's certainly very believable that even normal people, when faced with the possibility of death, has a switch that turns on that makes them forget all modicum of society and being civil in their quest for survival.
After watching the movie, I may just have to start washing my hands a lot more...Remember not to use anti-bacterial soap though, as that's just an invite for the creation of superbugs that there will not be any cures for, and then real pandemonium will break out.
Contagion is out in theatres everywhere today, Friday, September 9th.
