I went to watch an advanced screening of The Kids Are All Right, staring Julianne Moore, Annette Bening and Mark Ruffalo. Moore and Bening play a lesbian couple, Jules and Nic, whose kids contact their biological father, Paul (Mark Ruffalo), who is surprised to find out he's a dad. He becomes involved in their lives, which leads to a bit of havoc within the family.
The movie was a good take on a non-conventional family and had some great laughs in it too. I didn't really like how they left Paul hanging though, like, what happens to him? Anyway, the acting was pretty solid, and overall I'd say it was a good movie.
The Kids Are All Right comes out in theaters this week (it's come out in other places already July 9th). Read more about the film here.
