Steveston Salmon Festival - July 1
Steveston is holding their annual Salmon Festival on July 1, in celebration of Canada Day. The day begins with a parade through the Steveston village, starting at 10am. There will be many things to see, including a trade show, craft fair, Japanese Cultural Show, art exhibits, activities for children and many more. Of course, the main attraction is the salmon barbeque - over 1,000 pounds of wild salmon filets are grilled and served to the public. For more information on The Steveston Salmon Festival, check out their website here.
