Disneynature is coming out with a brand new safari adventure just in time for Earth Day! This time, you will get a glimpse into the life of a young chimpanzee named Oscar and his family in the forests of Africa. If you have ever seen any documentaries by Disney, you will know the footage is breathtaking and truly amazing.
In celebration of the film's release, Disneynature has partnered up with the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada where a donation will be made to JGI Canada for every moviegoer who sees the film on opening week. The donation will help protect chimpanzees and their habitat.
That's not all - Disney is launching a "Like Us, Save Chimps" campaign on the Walt Disney Studios Canada Facebook page. If they can reach 22,000 "likes" on their Facebook page by Sunday, April 22th - Earth Day, Disney will adopt two orphaned chimpanzees through the Jane Goodall Institute of Canada's Chimp Guardian Program.
It's easy! Just "like" the Walt Disney Facebook page. Then share the post on your Facebook wall and encourage your friends to "like" it too!
For more information on the Jane Goodall Institute, visit their website here.
Here's the movie trailer - it looks adorable and I cannot wait to see it! Chimpanzee comes out in theatres April 20th.
GIVEAWAY: That's not all! I have a giveaway for a family pack of 4-tickets to the advanced screening of Chimpanzee for all my Vancouver readers!
